NB: We're in the process of updating the Exec pages with information about the latest Exec for 2010 and as such some of the information may be out of date. However, ECSU email addresses for each officer should send to the 2010 Officer. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.
What does the Exec do?
The Exec is responsible for making decisions about the daily business of ECSU. Each of the Exec members have specific responsibilities, which are outlined in the Constitution.
The Exec meets every week, usually on Sundays, to discuss issues relating to students in Emma.
How do I get in touch with an Exec member?
The Exec members will be present at Open Meetings, where they will formally answer any questions you might have.
However, if you’ve got a more informal or urgent question, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Phone numbers and email addresses for all of the Exec members are given on their individual pages. Click a link on the right to find out more.
Responsibilities
Although the specific responsibilities for each Exec member are defined in the Constitution, they often act above and beyond these requirements.
In order to provide these services, ECSU receive funding from the College - any major changes to ECSU policy must be approved by the Master and Tutors’ Committee before they can be acted upon.
How is the Exec formed?
The Exec is elected on a yearly basis, at the end of Michaelmas Term. The electoral procedure is described in the Constitution. Elections will be publicised well in advance.
