Hi I'm Yvonne, the Access Officer and my role is to encourage current students to support the initatives that the college has for raising awareness of what being a student here is like for potential applicants from a non-traditional Oxbridge background. I work closely with both students, Cambridge University Student's Union, and the college's School Laison Officer (Danielle Cluer) to ensure that we're making the most of the wonderful friendly nature of Emmanuel and the enthusiasm of our current students to make sure that everyone who could benefit from coming here feels comfortable applying! Practically this involves things like aiding school visits to the college, organising the Shadowing Scheme, and helping the Admissions Office with the Alternative Prospectus and other admissions publications.
