Rents given here are weekly, while the CFC is a termly charge.

* Prior to 2005/2006, a £20 termly charge was made for use of the College Network; this has now been subsumed into rents, and so in order to give a more useful interpretation of the percentage increase in rents, this has been included in the 'adjusted weekly rent'.

Undergraduate Rents for Students Starting in 2012

College has recently redesigned it's rents system to provide greater certainty about the costs incurred whilst studying at Cambridge. For undergraduate students who begin courses in 2012 the rents will be as follows:

GradePrice Per Week
1£88.00
2£94.90
3£101.80
4£108.50
5£115.70
6£122.60
7£129.60
8£136.50

Instead of these prices rising by an unpredicable amount each year the room rents at each grade will only be increased in line with the Retal Price Index (RPI). Undergraduates pay rent for 10 weeks per term.

Usually almost all of the rooms allocated to undergradutes are grades 1 to 5. College will ensure that, in the room balloting, the possibility of taking a room at a grade no higher than 5 is available to each student.
