A huge range of different sports clubs and societies exist at Emma - the list available online here is by no means exhaustive, although it contains most of the major sports clubs and societies and includes all of those who receive funding from ECSU.

ECSU provide funding for a number of societies. Funding is decided by the Allocation Committee at the start of Michaelmas term, with small amounts of 'contingency funding' being made available by the Contingencies Committeeat the start of Lent and Easter terms. If you wish to start a society on an informal basis, there’s really nothing to stop you! However, if you want to start recruiting members on a larger scale or book rooms in college, it's probably a good idea to speak to either the Vice President or the President, and to check things over with the Senior Tutor if necessary.
